The recycled instruments here published as an example are a part of the production realized during the “recycling lute manufacturing” workshops carried out in a center for disabled people.

For their construction recycled materials have been used, which means material already intended for destruction.

The group work saw the active participation of the patients, turned out to be a precious tool capable of highlighting the single individuals as well as the group, through a series of virtuous synergies and interpersonal dynamics.

Thus, what is important is not only the value of the object as a musical instrument which fit perfectly in whichever musical context but also the processes of its construction.

In the multiplicity of positive values of this creative activity, there is also the satisfaction derived from the possibility to play this instrument or the one derived from seeing other people playing it.
